There also is a Tijuana Flats on Merritt Island. Meals typically cost between seven and ten dollars. So, foodies of Viera, there's a new, inexpensive restaurant coming to your neighborhood. In addition to tacos, the Tijuana Flats menu was filled with a variety of burritos, tostadas, and quesadillas. That was my first time at a Tijuana Flats, and I had their trademark taco special, plus salsa on the side. My visit was on "Taco Tuesday," and the place was packed. I took a field trip to their location in Melbourne Village Plaza along with two colleagues, and it was quite an experience. It will be competing with Chipotle and Moe's in Viera for the Tex-Mex aficionados. Tijuana Flats expects to open its Viera location sometime around June. The restaurant already has two locations in Brevard County, and is well known for its Taco Tuesday specials. I've learned that Tijuana Flats, a chain restaurant which serves Tex-Mex cuisine, is coming to Viera.
